Where should I sit in the United Center for a concert? ›

If you are there for a concert, definitely try to sit as close to the stage or the sides of the stage as you can on the 100 or 200 levels. It is a sports arena and not acoustically perfect for concerts. The sound bounces around in the back of the place.

All seating in the arena is assigned; guests should retain their ticket throughout the event and be prepared to show their ticket when entering the specific seating area.

Floor section rows are labeled from 1 to 27, and seats within these rows generally range from 1 to 14, increasing from left to right as you face the stage. Utilize our seating charts to select seats that offer a central view of the stage.

Definitely worth the money. Venue is downstairs, and room was not too crowded with plenty of seating. Great place to hang out and relax before a concert and massive crowd influx.

For all fare classes except Basic Economy, you'll be able to pick your seat or change your seat assignment. Front and Center Is Better for Sight Than Sound

Snagging a seat just feet from the stage will give you a great view, but the sound won't be ideal. Typically, speakers are located on the side of the stage and are pointed toward the center of the venue.

Guests have access to the United Center and the Rental Suite 1 ½ hours prior to the start of the game or event. For some special events (family shows, etc.), gates will open approximately 1 hour before the start time of the event.

Guests are able to enter the arena with a small purse or personal bag up to 10" x 6" x 2". No backpacks or other bags are allowed. Exceptions for guests with required medical equipment will be provided. Bag check is available in United Center Parking Lot J on Wood St.

For safety and sanitation reasons, no outside food or drink may be brought into the United Center. Levy Restaurants does offer the ability to purchase cakes, balloons and flowers for special occasions.

How much is parking at the United Center? Official lots around the United Center run about $24 for a regular-season game or special event. Most public parking lots surrounding the United Center average from $15 - $20. Prices are subject to change based on demand.

Seats behind the stage are occassionally sold: Unless your main objective is to just get in the building, you'll want to completely avoid anything behind the stage - like those in/near or above sections Section 115, Section 116, Section 117 and Section 118.

The most balanced sound in the hall is usually in the center of the hall. If you are looking for the purest sound, this area would be a great place to look! If you are looking for a seat closer to the stage, some parts of the orchestra will be more prominent.

If your top priority is sound, consider middle central seating. Surfaces towards the front, back and sides of the venue can break up the acoustics, especially by walls. Look for seats near the soundboard: engineers will mix sound for the entire location based on what they're hearing.

100 Level for Concerts

In most cases, the stage is at the West end of the arena and the best 100 Level seats are side sections. When the stage is at the far end, sections 113 and 121 are easily the best seats in the lower level.

Answer: The best seats for a Chicago Bulls game at the United Center are generally considered at the center 200 level (sections 201, 202, 233, 234, and 216-219). These seats offer a great court view and access to the Lexus Club, where you can enjoy in-seat wait service.
