The 127 Corridor Sale is easily one of the largest flea markets in the US as it stretches across multiple states. Originally planned as a tourist attraction for the scenic back roads in Tennessee and Kentucky, it now spans nearly 700 miles along the Hwy 127 corridor running from Michigan to Alabama. Along the way merchants set up shop in front yards, fields, parking lots, and parks. Vendors include seasoned dealers, antique shop owners, collectors trying to downsize, and other vintage fans. The event regularly attracts more than 1,500 vendors and is held every summer in August.

2. First Monday Trade Days – Canton, Texas
Small town Canton’s claim to fame is the famous flea market First Monday Trade Days. The population may be fewer than 5,000 people but every month it grows in size as thousands of shoppers visit one of the largest flea markets in the US. First Monday Trade Days began as a swap event for livestock and farm equipment over 100 years ago. The name is a misnomer as the event is Thursday through Sunday before the first Monday of each month. On those days, a series of buildings, shopping areas, and pavilions bustle with 6,000 merchants.

2. Brimfield– Brimfield, Massachusetts
Brimfield is the oldest outdoor antiques flea market in the country. It began in 1959 in auctioneer Gordon Reid’s backyard but today attracts more than 1 million visitors every year as one of the largest flea markets in the US.Brimfield features 5,000 vendors set up in 20 fields along the main road. Various fields may be themed to antique and collectible categories, such as pottery, or rustic furniture. Brimfield occurs just three times a year for six consecutive days. Some shows will charge a preview fee to shop on the first day, but many fields are free to browse.

The market is held on the second weekend of each month at the Atlanta Expo with merchants from around the world. 5. Rose BowlFlea Market – Pasadena, California
The historic Rose Bowl Stadium is home to sports events and one of the largest flea markets in the US: The Rose Bowl Flea Market. Every month on the second Saturday, 2,500 merchants gather to vend thousands of antique or vintage items ranging from housewares like furniture and glassware to odds and ends like antique photography. 6. Springfield Antique Show & Flea Market Extravaganza – Springfield, Ohio
Running for over 40 years, the Springfield Antique Show and Flea Market Extravaganza is a unique Midwest event for any antique and vintage lover. The flea market is held at Ohio’s Clark County Fairgrounds nine times a year. There are also extra market days called Extravaganzas on Friday-Sunday. On the market’s Extravaganza days, you can see up to 2,500 booths and merchants selling a range of merchandise, making it one of the largest flea markets in the US. Vendors sell a range of items but mid-century modern, antique furniture, vintage quilts, decor, jewelry, silverware, and other items are typically on hand.

7. Wagon Wheel Flea Market & Mustang Flea Market – Saint Petersburg, Florida (permanently closed)
Pinellas County features two flea markets in one location between Saint Petersburg and Clearwater, making it one of the largest flea markets in the US and Florida. The Wagon Wheel is weekend-only and offers almost 2,000 stalls with many located indoors. The Mustang Flea Market is held completely outdoors like a traditional market and runs on weekends as well as on Wednesdays. Both flea markets are bustling and feature thousands of items. There’s a range of new and vintage merchandise but plenty of antiques and collectibles for sale. Don’t forget to stop by their famous large produce stand.
June 2020 update: After nearly 55 years, the Wagon Wheel Flea Market has been permanently closed down after it was shut down on March 15 in response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

8. Mile High Flea Market – Henderson, Colorado
Mile High Flea Market is a longstanding tradition of Colorado’s flea market scene and regularly features around 2,000 merchants on its grounds. The open-air market began in 1976 in a dog track’s parking lot but now sits on 80 acres in its current location. One of the largest flea markets in the U.S, Mile High Flea Market is held every weekend year-round. Some vendors make repeat appearances while others visit sporadically, making the merchandise up for sale interesting and diverse. Merchants of antiques and collectibles appear in the stand-alone retail buildings, at temporary tables, and in storage units.

9. Texas Antique Weekend – Round Top, Texas
Texas is known for its big offerings and that includes its flea markets. One of the largest flea markets in the US occurs in several communities in the heart of rural Texas twice a year. Antique Weekend is held over two and a half weeks in April and October every year. The show consists of multiple sites including dance halls, tents, and barns. On show weekends more than 100,000 people attend to shop 2,000 merchants throughout Round Top, Warrenton, Fayetteville, and other Texas towns. Items can encompass any niche and interest from architectural salvage to vintage kitchenware.

10. Rogers Flea Market – Rogers, Ohio
The size of the weekly Rogers Flea Market has only increased since the market’s inception in 1955. It’s not uncommon to see 50,000 visitors on just the Friday session. Due to its location near Cleveland and Pittsburgh, the event features a range of merchants from around the Midwest and is one of the largest flea markets in the US. Over 1,600 vendors are located in indoor and outdoor spots and there’s no admission fee. The flea market is held on Fridays and Saturdays year-round. A monthly consignment auction is held on the second Tuesday of every month.
